Posted on September 29, 2011

Topic: Mobile Disruption : An AITP Panel on disruptive technologies around Mobile

Date: Tuesday, Oct. 11, Networking 5:15 pm – Program – 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Location: Hilton Garden Inn at Innsbrook, 4050 Cox Road, Glen Allen, Virginia

Program Description

Join AITP on October 11, for a spirited discussion on how the now ubiquitous smartphones are bringing on a Post-PC landscape, where we spend increasingly more hours on mobile devices compared to PC’s, socializing, discovering and sharing content, connecting to people and brands. The panel will discuss the role of mobile in the nascent retail environment, where the convergence of online and offline is taking shape through mobile and local experiences, with retailers using mobile as a delivery mechanism for targeted offers, and even as the new payment form factor. Join us to hear what are some of the emerging threats in the horizon that can further influence the role of mobile devices as they are absorbed in to the heart of the enterprise, and shape the future of commerce. Though this event is free, seats are limited.

Seats are limited, so register now, and you won’t forget later.

You may also join the AITP LinkedIn group to keep informed about programs and other networking opportunities.
